#88 TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project.
The game begins with the Turtles spending their vacation in Key West, Florida. That is all you need to know about the plot. Mark and Sten will fill in the rest during the video. One of the best TMNT games for the NES, we really enjoy playing this one from time to time.
This game you have the option to play with 1 player or 2 players. But there is a feature that you can play with two players, but with this mode you can suffer damage from the other turtles. This selection should never be used and I mean never. I warned you, don’t even try.
The enemies are a bit dull as they are mainly the same from level to level with only a few new ones introduced from time to time. But the bosses are where it is at. They are fun and challenging.
As a little kid growing up with the TMNT, I always loved this game. This hit number 88 on our charts, but it is number 1 in our hearts. This game has a lot of replayability (I know its not a word). First off, the game is rather long featuring 10 levels. So you probably will not play through the entire game the first time you play it. Not to mention that once you play it with one turtle, you will have to try the others to find your favorite. Overall, the replay value is good for this game.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project stands as a strong beat ’em up from an era when the genre was at its peak. It is as fun as it is brainless yet well-balanced fun for oldschool multiplayer action game. TMNT 3 perfectly captures what any kid could’ve wanted from a Turtles game.
