Poe Dameron

Spoiler filled talk between 13:00 and 21:30.  Everything else should be fine to listen to.

After a month off of Star Wars talk, both to catch our collective breaths and to let more news accumulate, we’ve finally returned with a brand new episode filled with all manner of stuff from a galaxy far, far away.

In this episode we talk about the dreamiest pilot in the galaxy, Poe Dameron.  We discuss the ending of Rebels Season 2 and the implications it has on the franchise as well as the show going forward.  We discuss the recently released Rogue One trailer.  And we delve a bit into some recent possible spoilers for Episode VIII.

Side Note- A look inside the minds of Mark and Sten at I, Geek:

We debated a discussion about Poe.  Was there enough character development to warrant a full episode devoted to the Resistance pilot?  Aside from some fancy flying and good looks is there anything deeper to the character.  We ultimately decided that Episode VII heavily revolved around 4 new characters and to do an episode for the other 3 (Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren) without giving some time to Poe, would be rather unfair on our part.  Luckily, what we found was we had more than enough material to go on and our discussion of Poe was far more enjoyable than either of us thought.

We’re not entirely sure where to go from here regarding the show topics, though we have some ideas.  It’s more a matter of fine tuning our topics and not at all the issue of lack of material.  It’s Star Wars for crying out loud.  There’s nearly limitless content to cover.

All the same look for more Star Wars on the horizon, especially as more and more Rogue One and Episode VIII news drops.

In the meantime…
